The idea for Bloom Ketamine Infusions began with a dream to make a difference in people’s lives. Betty Tacheny, a Board Certified Nurse Anesthesiologist, couldn’t help but notice the staggering number of her anesthesia patients that were suffering from depression, anxiety, PTSD, and OCD. She wanted to provide a valuable service to her patients’ lives and help ease their everyday suffering.
The goal of Bloom Ketamine Infusions is to provide people with the most effective pharmaceutical tool available today to relieve symptoms of common mood disorders, such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and OCD.
Betty has been in the health care field since 1977. She began her career as an emergency room nurse in the Chicago area before moving to Minnesota in 1992. While in Minnesota she continued her education and received her Bachelors of Science Degree and her Masters in Science as well as her Degree in Anesthesia and became a certified registered nurse anesthetist. She has been practicing anesthesia and using ketamine since 2000.
She is a skilled advanced clinician who has assisted with the opening of several surgery centers and has been the Director of Anesthesia for both hospitals and surgery centers during her career. This blended experience between the clinical and the administrative aspect of anesthesia has proven to be the perfect segue into her opening her own ketamine infusion clinic.
Betty loves helping people and especially improving the quality of their lives. When not working she enjoys reading, walking, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.
